And then sale it for 2375gp as a trader

....As soon as you give up adventuring and take up a career as a trader.
Until that time all goods are sold at 50%, no loop holes. Diplomacy checks will obviously affect prices.

Ok so if you get some work from or for House Cannith how would that affect the prices?

or if we/I start selling stuff from the workshop/house we have just brought do we then get full asking price?

Working for House Cannith would require that you were a part of their organisation. ATM I'm not sure how you'd go about affiliating yourself with them....

And yes, you could set up shop from your workshop, See the attached guide (note that the "Setting up Shop" costs would imply a conversion to your existing building).
The problem is that you will be out and about for much of the time and no business can survive if it is always closed. Consider perhaps hiring a shop assistant, but that would possibly bring it's own series of problems.

If you want to continue looking into the House Cannith option let me know and i'll look into it for you, but if memory serves me correctly you can not actually join the House without marrying into it or by invitation, but you should be able to affiliate yourself with it.......

p.s. the elven quickblade would sell for 2075gp as the base price of the weapon is 75gp and a +1 enhancement is 2000gp.
I will also point out that "Trade Goods", ie Wheat, flour, cloth, gems, jewellry, art objects, and valuable metals, are not subject to the 50% rule, as these items can be traded as "currency".

oh with regard to enchanting and then selling on, you make some very valid points, we not really have the time to set up shop at this moment, maybe if we start doing a great deal more just within the city then it will be worth it. So I think given the time and xp cost to enchant the selling price isn't good enough at 50% - 75%. I'll make the group better using what resources we have for the time being.

I'm pretty sure that the m/w cost is factored into, and superceded by the enchantment cost.
But i may be wrong, it has been known
