Dave as the Liches thrice damned anti-magic ray took away ajax's Attune Form spell should I have been taking damage from being unprotected in Mabar from them on ?

Wow, that's very honest of you. Yes you should have, luckily ther have only been 3 round so far so that's only 3d6 damage

Yes I think so. The amulet is not a targeted effect just like a fireball would damage him.... I think?!
