Its publisher, Haftak ir'Clarn, is a distant cousin of Lord Ruken ir'Clarn, a member of Breland's parliament who often expresses viewpoints and opinions in opposition to King Boranel. Haftak's position on his cousin's radical politics aside, you can find critics who claim that the Inquisitive goes out of its way to support or attack the Brelish crown.
