Downtime

We are looking at about nine days downtime, the game will recommence on Zol, 3rd Dravago.

If everyone could consider what they are doing with this time both individually and as a group it would save us some game time.
Post anything you wish to do here, if it needs to be played out we can still do it on Friday evening.

Also if you could give me some indication as to your future plans it would be most helpful.
There will be a couple of other events springing up that will be posted here when i get chance to gather my thoughts.

Deathsgate Guild are happy to accept you as guild members. There were two who stepped forward anonymously to praise your work at Bluescar, and a "Lost" member has returned to Sharn. Saeloth the sorceress offers her thanks for slaying her captives (the guild will not reveal anything about her.)

Right my first question is this ....

Crafting right a days work is based upon 8 hours work (giving the crafter 8 hours to sleep and 8 hours to eat live, go to the market ect.)

as Anvil doesn't need to sleep am I right in saying that we had agree that anvil could use those 8 hours to craft also, as long as he didn't need to get infusions back???

As most of Anvil's time will be taken up with craft items for the group if I can be twice as affective I may have time to craft something for myself.

oh and as I will be using xp for crafting I won't be levelled up just yet I'll have to wait til the end of the next session like the rest of the group

Right based on nine days downtime and two slots for crafting each day (18 slots in total)

Order Anvil will be crafting items is.
(xp current 21008)
Loric's Gloves = 5 Slots and 200 xp
Kapek's Armour = 1 Slot and 40 xp
Kapek's Boots = 2 slots and 56 xp
Ajax's Crystal of Fire (Lesser) = 3 Slots and 120 xp
Ajax's Mindshield Crystal (Lesser) = 4 Slots and 160 xp


The Circlet (4 slots and 160 xp) will have to wait and I have something else noted but badly what else did I say I would craft I have noted 20 xp and 1 slot I think it was something for Kapek??

So with that all done I have 2 slots (left for me ) and me on 20412 xp

If however I can only do 1 crafting per day regardless of everthing I'll do the top three from that list and be on 20712 xp and still have 1 day for me. I plan to buy a couple of other bits with my spare time, (see list ) make and improve contacts with House Cannith esp. any Spellcarver soldier Warforged, train with my mount (to justify buying ranks in Ride and Handle animal), check in with the tiara couple that I helped at the ball. mmm any thing else? I'll post more after thinking a bit more

If you drop back to your previous level, do you get your APs and craft reserve again?

Animal Messenger to get her to meet me in the tower by the tree. Then hopefully get a lift of Kapek and Hurricane down and back again

As for finding the elves and Torm, isn't there a House that specialises in information. Two adresses shouldn't be hard

Well, he's a wealthy merchant and noble. We could ask at the Deathsgate guild for a start; it's also possible that Lorric with his mighty Knowledge (Local) knows how to find him. We could ask House Lyrander about him while picking up our reward. There are no doubt many other merchants who know about him, and we have been buying a lot of stuff recently. Doesn't Pearl work for an information-gathering House?

Good point. The being staked out to die does put her rampage into a new perspective. Less blodd-crazed, goblin type slaughter, more righteous vengenance on the gits who staked her out to die.

Firstly, do Soarwood boats actually float in the air, or are they just very lightweight. It seems unclear.
Secondly, could my Glidewing be a tougher version as we did for Reaver? The Advancement seems a bit odd as it jumps from 3HD as standard to a range of 6-10 HD.
Thirdly, buying feedbags for the animals. Sharpeye is a Medium sized creature that eats plants matter. Hurricane will be a Large-sized creature that eats fish. Advice please.

Crafting is considered to be 8 hours of work. However you can only have one crafting period a day. Otherwise you could theoretically have 3 crafting periods each day and i feel that is too unbalanced.
It was decided that with regards evenings (8 hour rest period) you could either refresh infusions or craft. That way you were still fulfilling the primary character chioce of the class. ie. making stuff....

Not sure how you're wanting to make contacts in House Cannith....
Spellcarved Soldiers are something i must look into a little further, and for that reason at this point in time you are unable to locate any.
You collect your mount on 28th Eyre, and after a few days training (perhaps with Kapek?), you master the basics.
The couple that you helped at the ball are doing well and enjoying the money that you helped them acquire.

The Animal Messenger will cost you 50 gold.

"After a vigil of several days you see Yulunga slowly ascending the exterior stair to the tree at the top of the tower, some 75 feet over the ruins of Fallen. After a few moments of studying the tree and most likely retrieving the note from the leg of the tiny bird, she looks to the towers far above scouring the city above for a sign of your presence."
Assuming Kapek is willing you can descend into Fallen and speak with her.

With regards to finding the elf sisters and Trom....
You can hire an inquisitive for 10-20sp/day, who knows how long it will take in a city of substantially more than 200,000 people?
Should you hire an inquisitive of House Tharashk this will be more expensive, especially if they are using magic to aid their search. This could cost upwards of 300 gold.

Knowledge (Nobility and royalty) would cover this, not Knowledge (local).
The Deathsgate guild have no information on the man.
House Lyrander may have had dealings with him but are unwilling to divulge customer information.
Asking other merchants while you're out and about will require a Gather Information check.
Pearl is certainly affiliated with House Thuranni. (This will note be a cheap option, House Thurrani do not offer their services lightly)

1. ECS p.127 - Soarwood possesses a magical buoyancy. This means it floats better than normal wood. Although airships need to made from it, it is the magics of the elementals bound within these vessels that give tham the power of flight.
   
2. Yes you can advance Hurricane as you did Reaver, can't remember how we did it tho
   
3. Hmmmm, feedbags...... I've been looking at these since you mentioned it on friday and have come to the decision that this item is being based on something that specifically states equine animal, this says to me that they are not meant to be designed to create meat. Meat requires that something sentient once lived in order to offer nourishment. The prerequisite spell is create food & water, which doesn't create meat, you would need summon spells for that and they are not particularly long lasting. In conclusion, you may buy a "vegetarian" version, (as per MIC p.160), but not a carnivorous version.

Most of the invitations were won in a raffle/lottery so she doesn't know where to find them.... However she has been looking for you guys as it happens, her inquisistives tracked you down to Oakbridge but have been "deterred" from further investigations.. There have been several parties interested in hiring your services.

1. Paxor's family want to know his whereabouts.
   
2. The Aundarian Embassy has heard of your exploits and wishes to speak with you.
   
3. Malaren Dexel is still looking for help.
   
4. (+others should you be interested)

One way or another, I should be able to wangle it. A souped-up Hurricane can manage no problem, an ordinary Hurricane needs some careful quartermastering but will work.

In my opinion :
(1) Don't care if Lord Loud Mouth is dead but he's death was mysterious enough to intrigue me. Prepared to consider this one
(2) Who are they ?
(3) Corrupt Watch-Captain thing. Let's stay away from the Watch for now
